Taking place on Thursday (4/22) at 5:30pm ET/2:30pm PT, the virtual event will discuss how movies paved the way for the globalization of American popular music as well as the history of music in advertising and the role it plays in the music industry on a global scale.

The discussion will be moderated by N.Y. Board member Julia Buchheim of Downtown Music Publishing and will feature film/advertising sync veteran panelists, including Warner Chappell’s Keith D’Arcy and Brooklyn Music Experience’s Josh Rabinowitz.
