World renowned classical group, The Piano Guys, are the latest artists to join the Primary Wave family.
As part of the deal, the pubco acquires worldwide income and future distribution rights in all existing recordings, which includes their renditions of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years,” “Beethoven's 5 Secrets,” Frozen's “Let it Go," One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful and more, as well as global publishing admin rights for future musical compositions.
Additionally, the agreement includes name and likeness for The Piano Guys, which consists of Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson, Paul Anderson and Al van der Beek, as well as access to the pubco’s marketing and publishing infrastructure, such as digital strategy, licensing, synch, film, TV and theatrical production.
Since posting their first YouTube video in 2011, The Piano Guys have garnered 2b+ views across the platform, topped the Classical Albums or New Age charts upon the release of each of their seven albums and have performed sold-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, Syndey Opera House, Red Rocks, The Greek and more.
