FEID INKS WITH UMPG
3/2/21

UMPG has inked singer/songwriter Feid to an exclusive, global publishing deal.

Hailing from Medellín, Columbia, Feid began his career writing for other artists as a member of the collective Icon Music/Dynasty Publishing, including #1 hits like J. Balvin’s “Ginza” and CNCO’s “Mamita.”

With a catalog of nearly 200 songs, Feid, neé Salomon Villada Hoyos, has previously collaborated with the likes of Anitta, De La Ghetto, Esteman, Manuel Turizo, Sebastián Yatra, Tainy, Thalía and Zion & Lennox, among others.

He also received Latin Grammy Award nominations two years in a row for his second studio album, 19, and 2020’s FERXXO (VOL 1: M.O.R.).

“We are so proud to have supported Feid from the beginning. To have witnessed his prolific songwriter output, and his rise from go-to songwriter for various artists to successful solo artist, simply evidences his admirable work ethic,” shared Alexandra Lioutikoff, UMPG President for Latin America and U.S. Latin.

“I’m so happy to be part of my UMPG crew, they’ve always shown me love and have introduced me to new producers who have been crucial for the development of my career,” added Feid.

“He’s always creating, bringing harmony to the mix, and we look forward to supporting his continuing success,” said Ana Rosa Santiago, VP Creative, Latin America and U.S. Latin.

Last year, Feid also dropped Bahia Ducati, which yielded “Porfa (Remix)” featuring UMPG artists Balvin, Sech and Justin Quiles, as well as Nicky Jam and Maluma. Most recently, he released “14 de Febrero” and is gearing up for the release of “Purrito Apa” on 3/12.
