SONY/ATV PROMOTES VACCAREZZA

Sony/ATV has upped Veronica Vaccarezza to SVP, Business Development, Latin America & U.S. Latin. Based in the company’s Miami office, Vaccarezza reports directly to Sony/ATV President and CEO, Latin America & U.S. Latin, Jorge Mejia.

In her new position, Veronica is responsible for driving growth through digital and strategic initiatives. She will also foster and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders and societies while supporting in negotiations with songwriters and clients.

“It has been my great pleasure and privilege to know Veronica for upwards of twenty years and to work directly with her for the past eight. We are lucky to have Veronica in our family, I can’t wait to see what the future will bring for her,” shared Mejia.

“I am privileged to work with Jorge Mejia and the Sony/ATV family, where I have the opportunity to learn every day from my colleagues and work on behalf of our incredibly talented songwriters,” added Vaccarezza.

Getting her start in the biz at EMI Music Publishing Argentina in 1994, Vaccarezza relocated to Miami in 1999 for EMI’s Latin American regional office and served various roles within the company. In 2011, Vaccarezza was upped to VP, Strategic and Business Support for EMI Latin America, prior to joining Sony/ATV Latin America as VP of Business Development.
