Songwriter/Producer/DJ and on-air personality Frank Ski has inked a global publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
The hip-hop veteran most recently had one of his popular songs sampled in Cardi B’s global hit single “WAP” f/Megan Thee Stallion as well as 2018’s “In This House” by Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane.
Throughout his decades-long career, which includes hosting The Frank Ski Show, Ski has written and produced numerous singles including "Doo Doo Brown,” Hezekiah Walker's "99 ½,” and V.I.C.’s “Wobble,” and contributed to soundtracks for The Player's Club, Ax ‘Em, HBO's The Corner and The Wire.
“Frank Ski is a legend in Hip-Hop – it is no surprise that his talent as a DJ and producer continues to make history, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for his music,” shared Sony/ATV Chairman/CEO Jon Platt.
Sony/ATV VP, Creative Mike Jackson adds, “Frank brings a wealth of experience and talent to our company, as well as a timeless catalogue of great music. I am honored to have Frank join the Sony/ATV family.”
Ski is one of several latest signings out of Sony/ATV’s new Jackson-led Atlanta office.
