QUICKENED PULSE
7/20/20

We don't know why Pulse's Scott Cutler, Ashley Calhoun and Josh Abraham look so damn serious—if we had writers on five of the Top 10 song at Pop radio (and six of the Top 20), we'd be jumping around like fools and splashing each other with champagne. Maybe it's a Silver Lake thing. Anyhoo, Team Pulse has gotta be pretty giddy on the inside, at least, about having a piece of hits like Trevor Daniel's newly #1 "Falling," two Harry Styles hits, "Watermelon Sugar" and "Adore You," both co-penned by Tyler Johnson, Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" f/Beyoncé (writer: Starrah) and the Gaga/Ariana juggernaut "Rain on Me" (thank you, Bloodpop). There's also Trevor's newest missile, "Past Life," with Selena Gomez, now inside the Top 20. Now where's that kid with the margaritas from El Condor?
