Warner Chappell Music has inked an exclusive global publishing deal with Mexican Grupero, Bronco. The deal covers their classic hits including “Dos Mujeres, un Camino,” “Vamos a Amarla Los Dos,” “Libros Tontos” and more.
Known for their Norteño traditional style with modern instruments and a melodic pop style, Bronco currently consists of Jose Guadalupe Esparza, Jose Adan Esparza, Rene Esparza Bass, Ramiro Delgado Jr. and Javier Cantú.
“We’re excited to have a partner like Warner Chappell, who we trust to amplify our music and our voices throughout the region and beyond. With Carlos, Gustavo, and the entire team behind us we’re ready to show more people across the world what Bronco and the regional Mexican genre is all about,” says Bronco.
Gustavo Menendez, President, WCM Latin America, adds, “The Mexican regional genre is a staple among Spanish-speaking communities in Mexico and the U.S., and we know it has the power to command recognition on a global scale. As the genre continues to explode, we’re proud to work with an iconic group like Bronco to help bring their incredible music to even more fans.
Since garnering international recognition in the late ‘80s with “Que No Quede Huella (May No Traces Be Left)” off their 1989 album, A Todo Galope, Bronco has sold 14m+ albums worldwide, received a Grammy nod, had multiple gold and platinum-certified singles and earned a #1 on the Latin Albums and Mexican Regional Albums chart.
Bronco are currently working on a forthcoming album, due in early 2021. They are set to release the first single on 8/21.
