Grammy-nominated R&B singer Keyshia Cole has signed with Primary Wave Music for management. Joining a roster that includes Melissa Etheridge, Fantasia, Cypress Hill and Eric Benét, among others, the announcement follows Cole’s latest record deal with BMG and her reunion with A&R executive and producer Ron Fair for her next album.
"I am truly blessed to continue my journey with a whole new team of believers," says Cole. “My new label partner- BMG - with Tim Reid leading the charge; my new management - Primary Wave under the direction of Steven Greener, and I'm beyond happy to be reunited with my musical father Ron Fair, who believed in me from the very beginning."
Primary Wave’s Head of Talent Management Greener shares, "[Cole] is an extraordinary artist who has pushed the envelope throughout her career in music and on television. We are looking forward to a lengthy future together."
Fair adds, "One hundred percent of my heart and soul, and everything I have learned in my 40 year career is dedicated to helping Keyshia Cole continue to sing her life story into the hearts of her fans. I'm thrilled about our reunion."
Oakland native Cole dropped her debut album, The Way It Is, in 2005 and the platinum album featured tracks like "I Should Have Cheated" and "Love." Her double platinum follow up included #1 single “Heaven Sent.” With 7 albums on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, her latest release, 11:11 Reset,dropped in 2017.
