The Goffin & King Foundation has launched the Iso Booth: The Goffin & King Foundation Quarantine Cover Contest, an online-only series for musicians to arrange, record and submit their own renditions of tracks from the Gerry Goffin and Carol King catalog. In conjunction with the foundation’s new virtual community, The GKF Songwriter Lounge on Facebook, the contest encourages creatives to put their own spin on classics.
Submissions must be entered by Friday (5/15) to the Facebook page, where they will be judged by a panel that includes Goffin & King Foundation’s Creative Director Louise Goffin, Chuck D, The Civil War’s John Paul White, Jodi Marr, Nicole Atkins and Queen’s Spike Edney. 13 standout covers will be chosen on 5/22 at 12pm PT.
