AIMP WEBINAR GOES WEEKLY
4/13/20

The AIMP will host another webinar panel discussion on Zoom this week, featuring Peloton Head of Music Paul DeGooyer, on Thursday 4/16 at 5:30pm ET/2:30pm PT. It will be free for members and $5 for non-members, register here.

This week's discussion will center on the use of music in Peloton's live and recorded fitness classes, the effect of the coronavirus on the exercise industry, and a new opt-in for independent music publishers to license their music directly to the company.

Last week's panel discussed government aid programs for songwriters and the music publishing industry in the age of the COVID-19 pandemic, and concerns about the complex application process for that aid. AIMP Nashville Chapter President John Ozier of Reservoir led that discussion, with strong contributions from panelists Bart Herbison of the NSAI and AIMP L.A. Chapter President Teri Nelson-Carpenter of Reel Muzik Werks.
