PRIMARY WAVE PARTNERS WITH BACHARACH

Primary Wave Music Publishing has entered into a long-term strategic partnership with award-winning composer, songwriter, record producer, and performer Burt Bacharach, an important composer of pop music in the 20th century.

His songs have been recorded by a who's who of artists including Perry Como, Dionne Warwick, The Beatles, The Shirelles, Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield, Neil Diamond, Patti Labelle, Elvis Costello and Rod Stewart. The three-time Oscar winner's partnership with Primary Wave will include access to the publisher's marketing and branding teams, publicity department, and publishing infrastructure which includes digital strategy, licensing, synch opportunities and film & TV production.

Primary Wave will work with the Grammy winner to market his name and likeness, in addition to managing all digital marketing activities. The publishing firm will administer and market the composer's more than 500 compositions, which include 48 top 10 hits and nine #1 songs.

The agreement includes many of the Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee's greatest hits written throughout his career, such as "I Say A Little Prayer," "They Long To Be Close To You," "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head," "That's What Friends Are For," "Walk On By," "What The World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love," "There's Always Something There To Remind Me," "On My Own," "Do You Know The Way To San Jose" and many others.
