Downtown Music Publishing has announced the promotion of two execs on its Creative Marketing team. Jumee Park is upped to SVP of Film & TV Music, while Rachael Kruk ascends to VP of Music for Advertising and Brands. Both are based in L.A. and will continue to report to EvP/Global Head of Sync Jedd Katrancha.
Park’s recent projects include The Call of the Wild, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part and Midsommar. She’s been with Downtown since 2008. Kruk, who joined the company in 2015, has been Director of Creative Licensing for the last two years; Downtown has over the past year enjoyed syncs in spots by Google, Apple, McDonald’s, Nissan, Mazda, Marriot, Patrón, Louis Vuitton, Lancôme, Sephora and many more.
“Jumee and Rachael deeply understand the communities within which they operate, they work tirelessly to achieve impressive results, they lead by word and example, and their enthusiasm makes it a joy to collaborate with them daily,” reads a quote from Katrancha. “Their rise in the ranks may be timed together, and they may share the mentioned traits, but these well-deserved promotions come as the result of two distinctly different paths and approaches to creativity.”
