SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME TO HOLD OSCAR NOMS RECEPTION
1/24/20

The Songwriters Hall of Fame will honor this year’s Oscar nominees for Best Original Song at its fourth-annual Q&A/panel event, A Conversation with 2020 Oscar-Nominated Songwriters, to be held 1/28 at L.A. Film School in Hollywood.

Immediately following a VIP reception for the nominees, the event will be held in the school auditorium with legendary songwriter and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Paul Williams serving as host. Mary Jo Mennella, Songwriters Hall of Fame West Coast Committee Chair & Board Member, will make introductory remarks.

This event will celebrate and honor the contributions and legacies of songwriters in all genres, while fostering the next generation of songwriters through educational forums, scholarships, and digital initiatives. Nominees expected to attend are Bernie Taupin, Dianne Warren, Robert Lopez, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Joshua Campbell and Cynthia Erivo.
