Latin singer-songwriter Mariah has signed an exclusive global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. Mariah Angeliq, a 19-year old Miami-born, Puerto Rican-Cuban artist signed to Universal Music Latino, has seen her songs surpass 25m collective streams on one year; she has more than 1m monthly listeners on Spotify.
Her biggest hit single is “Perreíto,” and she has collaborated on “Lo Prohibido” with Casper Mágico and on “Costear (Remix)” with Jhay Cortez, Myke Towers, Casper Mágico and Ñengo Flow.
“Mariah is a star in the making whose talent, fierce creativity and determination will empower her to go the distance,” said UMPG President of Latin America and US Latin, Alexandra Lioutikoff. “With her playful, mixed-genre hits, she is breaking boundaries and bringing a welcome new sound to the Latin Urban music scene.”
