Benny Blanco’s catalog of the last four years, featuring hits written for Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran and others, has a new home at Merck Mercuriadis’ Hipgnosis Songs Fund.

Hipgnosis has acquired 100% of Blanco’s copyright ownership in his catalog of 93 songs released since 2015.

That longevity, to be able to write No. 1 songs consistently for more than a decade and to have made incomparable contributions to establishing the most important artists of our time, is an almost impossible feat. He has literally defined the modern pop era in a way that very few others can lay claim to.”

The catalog includes Bieber’s “Love Yourself,” Major Lazer’s “Cold Water,” Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love,” “Freaky Friday” by Lil Dicky and Sheeran’s “Castle on the Hill.”

Besides cash, Merck is supplying Benny with a lifetime supply of Dodger Dogs.
