ELBA GREASE

Multimedia marvel Idris Elba celebrates inking a pub deal with UMPG (which will also sub-publish artists on his 7Wallace label) by posing for this exuberant photo op with Jody Gerson and team. As you're no doubt aware, in addition to being the star of The Wire, Luther and other zeitgeisty projects, Elba is a DJ, musician and songwriter, and is unreasonably handsome. His debut single, "Boasty," co-created with Stefflon Don and Sean Paul, made some serious chart noise in the U.K., and he's also collaborated with the likes of Poo Bear and Slick Rick, among others. UMPG U.K. boss Mike McCormack says it was "a top priority" to ink the star. Shortly after this photo was taken, David Gray asked if he could meet Omar.
