“And the Writer Is…” the podcast dedicated to interviews with songwriters, has crossed the 2m download mark today (6/24). Creator and host Ross Golan, who recently became one of the first songwriters to sit on the Board of Directors for the National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA), and co-producer Joe London have had several notable guests this season, including Teddy Gieger, Jon Bellion and Shane McAnally, to name a few.

Wrapping up its fourth season this week, the finale episode features Grammy winner Wyclef Jean. Recorded at 2019’s SXSW Conference, Jean talks about working with the likes of Lauryn Hill and Shakira, his mentor Quincy Jones, and how the Haitian immigrant became a founding member of The Fugees, a solo artist and a producer/writer.
