NOW WHAT?
We have no fucking idea.
COUNTRY'S NEWEST DISRUPTOR
Three chords and some truth you may not be ready for.
AI IS ALREADY EATING YOUR LUNCH
The kids can tell the difference... for now.
WHO'S BUYING THE DRINKS?
That's what we'd like to know.

The National Music Publishers' Association just announced the addition of Pulse Music Group co-CEO—and multi-platinum songwriter/producer—Scott Cutler as a Board of Directors member.
“Scott has always been an active member of NMPA and his voice will be even more amplified as a new director on our board," shares NMPA President & CEO David Israelite. "It is wonderful to add not only an accomplished executive but also a songwriter and producer to our leadership, and we look forward to his valuable perspective at this particularly dynamic period in our industry.”
Cutler—a co-writer on worldwide smash “Torn,” which was famously covered by Natalie Imbruglia in 1997—has kept up with his work behind the pen, notably winning the 2007 Critic’s Choice Award for Best Song with “Listen” from the film Dreamgirls. The latter was also nominated for Best Original Song at the 2007 Academy Awards and the 2007 Golden Globe Awards.
That same year, he launched Pulse with writer/producers Josh Abraham and Anne Preven, driven by a creative-first heart. And just last year, Pulse won the 2018 AIMP Publisher of the Year award. Recent hits include Maroon 5 f/Cardi B's "Girls Like You," Camila Cabello f/Young Thug's "Havana," Travis Scott f/Drake's "Sicko Mode" and Luis Fonsi f/Daddy Yankee's "Despacito."
For what it's worth, at HITS, our only mode is Sicko Mode. And we still don't know what "despacito" means, but we have heard the phrase "están desesperados" uttered around us.
