GIBSON GOES TO BMG
12/3/18

BMG has inked a new global co-publishing deal with Dave Gibson today (12/3).

Gibson is the songwriter behind the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill CMT and CMA nominated track, “Speak To A Girl,” among other co-writes including Robin Schulz’s Gold-certified single, “I Believe I’m Fine,” and James Arthur’s “Sermon.” Other collaborations include Bruno Mars, Phillip Lawrence, Kygo, Stargate, Mary J. Blige, Liam Payne, Pixie Lott, Keith Urban, Tony Braxton and more.

“Joining BMG is the move of a lifetime for me,” Gibson said of the new long-term pact. Marian Wolf, Director Global Writer Services, BMG (seen at left with Wolf), adds, “Dave has the unique talent to write songs that touch people across genres and territories. We are thrilled to be working with Dave and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

Gibson was born in Scotland and relocated to L.A. He misses foul weather and hearing people drunkenly cursing at livestock, but kinda digs having a pool.
