BMG CLAIMS CAMILLE
6/25/18

Camille Purcell has inked a long-term publishing agreement with BMG, right after replacing herself atop the U.K. Official Singles Chart with another #1 single. Clean Bandit’s “Solo,” co-written by Purcell, took the throne over from Jess Glynne’s “I’ll Be There,” which she co-wrote with fellow BMG writer Glynne.

The hitmaker (aka Kamille) is behind such U.K. #1s as Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex” and “Black Magic,” which both claimed the peak position for three consecutive weeks. Most recently, Purcell co-penned Jax Jones’ new single, “Ring Ring," featuring BMG songwriter Mabel and Rich The Kid.

Purcell explains, "I’m so happy to be signing with BMG again, and continuing such an amazing relationship. The team have done so much for me both in the U.K. and the U.S., supporting me both as a writer and now as an artist. I’m so excited for what’s to come in the future.”

Lisa Cullington, Senior Director BMG A&R Publishing said, “Camille is an incredibly talented songwriter. Her hit rate is outstanding and we’re delighted that she has decided to stay with BMG. We’re so excited to continue our relationship with her and we look forward to even more success together.”
