At the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards, UMPG VP A&R Walter Jones wisely decides to add a feature by ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Quavo to his photo op. Later, the two had a bracing discussion about sync rights in the Benelux territories.

Meanwhile, in "people standing in a line holding plaques" news, this passel of pulchritudinous publishers was even more stylin' than usual. They've all got soul, though we're iffy on Luke McGrellis' sense of rhythm.
