BMG has announced the promotion of Jasmina Zammit, who will head Brazil's repertoire operation as General Manager. She'll be responsible for establishing local music publishing and recordings repertoire operation.
Zammit will be working alongside Julio Vieira, Director of Finance & Operations BMG Brazil, overseeing local A&R and Sync departments. She'll continue reporting to Patrick Joest, EVP Licensing & Marketing International.
"Few people understand the BMG approach better than Jasmina. She has been instrumental in developing our sync business through BMG's network of sub-publishers worldwide and integrating our sync teams in BMG territories around the globe," says Joest. "I'm confident that she will be the right person to establish our business-model in this rapidly growing territory." Pass the coxinhas.
