Universal Publishing Production Music (UPPM) announced that Jane Carter has been appointed Managing Director across the pond at Universal Production Music and Focus Music.
Starting her new role 1/15, Carter will lead production music growth strategy and client relations for both companies out of London. She'll report to President of Universal Publishing Production Music Worldwide Michael Sammis and U.K. MD for Universal Music Publishing Mike McCormack.
Previously Carter had set up her own music production company and most recently served as Business Manager for acclaimed film composer George Fenton, managing his publishing catalog and live event portfolio as well as his partnership with BBC Worldwide.
"With Jane’s extensive experience and contacts from working in broadcasting, live events, production music and managing the careers of some of the UK’s finest composers," said McCormack on the announcement, "[Jane] was the ideal candidate.”
