Allegra Willis Knerr is moving up to VP Film and TV Licensing at BMG; she was previously Senior Director of the department.
Now responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and direction of the newly restructured BMG U.S. Film & TV Licensing department, Knerr will continue to be responsible for driving output of the sync licensing team. She'll be reporting directly to Global EVP Licensing & Marketing Patrick Joest, and work alongside Alex Flores, who oversees U.S. Film & TV Marketing.
“With Allegra’s profound knowledge of both the Film & TV licensing business and the company’s catalog, she has been instrumental in constantly delivering on BMG’s commitment of being an exceptionally transparent and fair service provider to artist and sync clients alike," said Joest. "Over the last years she has played an invaluable part of building and growing the U.S. Film & TV Licensing team to what it is today and we are confident this success story is going to continue.”
