UMPG has closed a global deal with STX Entertainment to globally administer STXtv and Lalela Production Music libraries. These include film and TV properties, the latter including American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance and the Real Housewives franchise (its composers have some 28k cues on network shows, all told).

STXtv produces E’s The Platinum Life and has multiple scripted, unscripted and VR projects in development.

UMPG Prexy North America Evan Lamberg, STXfilms EVP/Head of Music Jason Markey and STX Entertainment COO Tom McGrath issued glowing quotes, all of which will be danced to by SYTYCD contestants in coming seasons, but this is our fave, from Markey: “Jody [Gerson] is an industry titan in the publishing ecosphere, and I am thrilled to expand our association with her and UMPG.”
