THIS JUANES BIG NEWS: W/C INKS LATIN GIANT
10/10/17

Warner/Chappell has signed a worldwide pub pact with Juanes, the 23-time Grammy winner whose most recent set, Mis Planes son Amarte (Universal Latino), hit #1 in 14 countries, has powered three #1 singles and scored five Latin Grammys (including Album and Record of the Year), granting him the title of most nominated artist in Latin Grammy history. All seven of his solo sets have been #1 Latin albums.

The star expressed his thanks to and admiration for W/C topper Jon Platt and President, Latin America Gustavo Menendez.

Juanes, a busy philanthropist who received France's L'ordre des Arts et des Lettres for his humanitarian efforts, sings primarily in Spanish but has also recorded in English—and Italian and German and Portuguese and... well, we feel even less accomplished than we did when we started writing this.
