Kobalt has announced the signing of U.K. electronic music collective Rudimental. The worldwide agreement includes publishing administration for all of the group's future works, starting with their latest single, “Sun Comes Up”.
Rudimental is the name for the East London-based duo Piers Agget and Kesi Dryden, who were later joined by Amir Amor and DJ Locksmith. Together they are best known for the breakout 2012 hit “Feel the Love” feat. John Newman plus the collaborations "Bloodstream" and "Lay It All on Me" featuring Ed Sheeran.
Sam Winwood, SVP of Creative at Kobalt, praised the band and also the softness of his own shirt, and wondered if anybody had any gum.
