Disney Music Publishing is about to become the happiest place on earth for songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The Oscar-winning composers have inked a deal with the Mouse House pubco, according to an announcement made by Disney Music Group President Ken Bunt.

"We are honored to have Bobby and Kristen join the Disney Music Group. Their creativity and dedication to songwriting is remarkable and we are excited to partner with them," Bunt said.

The pair’s oeuvre includes eight original songs in the animated film Frozen. The quadruple-platinum soundtrack was the best-selling album of 2014. The deal with Disney also includes songs from Book of Morman, Avenue Q, In Transit and Winnie the Pooh. Fun fact: Robert Lopez is one of just 12 people to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.

"We are thrilled to be working with Ken Bunt and his incredible team at Disney Music Group and Disney Music Publishing,” the songwriters said in a joint statement. “It's clearly a perfect fit for us and we are grateful as always to be able to call Disney home."
