BIG DEAL'S BIG NIGHT
5/10/17

Big Deal Music cleaned up at the 65th Annual BMI Pop Awards, held 5/9 at L.A.’s Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Winners included Teddy Geiger, Danny Parker and D.J. Kyriakides, who penned Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches,” which earned Song of the Year, and kudos in the Award Winning Song category. Other Big Dealers earning nods for Award Winning Song included Matt Morris for Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You,” Geiger for Mendes’ “Treat You Better” and John Ryan for two One Direction tracks, “Drag Me Down” and “Perfect.” Ryan is poised for another big year: He co-write the new Niall Horan single, “Slow Hands.”
