Boutique Nashville pubco Big Yellow Dog scored three wins at Music City's AIMP Nashville Awards, notably Independent Publisher of the Year, while BYD writer Maren Morris claimed Artist-Writer of the Year and her "Rich" (co-penned with Laura Veltz and Jessie Jo Dillon) took Publisher's Pick. Seen just before co-owner Carla Wallace hit a note only songwriters can hear are (l-r) BYD VP Creative Matt Lindsey, co-owner Kerry O'Neil, Wallace and Creative Manager Lauren Funk.

BYD claims more than 30 #1 singles in its nearly two decades of existence. Said Wallace of the Indie Pubco trophy, "To win this award in a room full of my favorite hustlers and competitors is a great honor."
