Pub Crawling
THREE #1 SONGS. 35 STAFF MEMBERS. DON'T ASK HOW MANY DRINKS.
3/3/17

Warner/Chappell U.K. MD Mike Smith raises a glass with his team at their High Street Kensington HQ to celebrate a third #1 album in a row, thanks to signed songwriters Stormzy, Rag'n'Bone Man and Elbow. Later, they all got trollied at the pub, cycled through Hyde Park on a Boris Bike and slept on Her Majesty's lawn.

Before all of that, Smith said: “It’s always a great feeling to witness a gifted songwriter take it to the next level by producing an inspiring body of work that captures the ears of the entire country. To have it happen three times in a row with three different songwriters in the Warner/Chappell family is simply extraordinary.

"This trio of powerful albums is a beautiful representation of the breadth of our roster, and the diversity of songwriting in Britain today. For Rag’n’Bone Man and Stormzy to have #1s with their debut albums will have an enormous impact on the careers of these groundbreaking artists."

You'll find Rag'n'Bone Man managers Polly Comber and Josh Smith in the picture below to the left of Smith (who's wearing a red jumper in the center).
