The folks at Big Machine Music and Red Bull celebrate their new publishing JV and the inking of songwriter/producer/musician Nathan Barlowe with this effervescent pic. You may know Barlowe as a tunesmith who's worked with Taylor Swift and Steven Tyler; you might recall him as member of Red Bull band Five Knives. Or perhaps you'll recollect Keith Urban's rapturous description of Barlowe's instrumental work on an electronic assemblage called The Phantom in a recent interview with us.

Seen thinking that a signing advance gives you wings are (back, l-r) Red Bull's Greg Hammer and Dasmarie Alvino and (front, l-r) Red Bull's Buffy Hubelbank, Barlowe and Big Machine Music's Mike Molinar.

"I'm very pleased to expanded on our relationship with our friends at Red Bull and in a way that creates more opportunities for a writer as diverse and talented as Nathan,” said Molinar.

"Big Machine Music is an incredible company and we are thrilled to be joining forces with them on a talented songwriter like Nathan,” Hammer proclaimed.

“I am so proud to say that I am a writer at Big Machine Music. The company’s record of success speaks for itself,” said Barlowe. “The partnership with Red Bull publishing is another component that will increase exposure and lead to more songs being heard. I look forward to what we can all do together in the future.”
