As we enter the heart of summer, the hits are pouring in. Notably, the product flow for Top 40 has significantly picked up over the past few weeks, paving the way for several songs to break through and make their run for “Song of the Summer.”

One of those is Tommy Richman’s “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” (PULSE/ISO Supremacy), which has Concord’s Scrobe team practicing their dance moves. The track has been in the Top 10 Most Added column at Pop for five consecutive weeks, pulling in 148 stations as it climbs to the Top 15 with big spin increases coming in that should propel it to the Top 10 shortly. Mark Adams, PD, Z100/VP CHR Programming iHeartMedia, says, “Jumping quickly from social media to radio in record time, ‘MILLION DOLLAR BABY’ has exploded internationally and in the U.S. and is achieving new benchmarks almost weekly. It is the kind of song that feels designed to boom out of your radio on a hot, lazy summer day, which is appropriate for one of the top contenders for the Song of the Summer.”

This week's top of the add board belonged to ICLG’s Marella team as they put 59 adds on Eminem’s newly released “Houdini” (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope), which has already climbed on the chart and landed at #1 on all the streaming services. They also put 16 adds on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” (pgLang/Interscope), placing it in the Top 10 Most Added as well. Gracie Abrams’ “Risk” (Interscope) is now on 68 stations, including majors HITS1, Z100, KIIS and KBKS; look for it to join the Top 30 shortly. Billie Eilish’s “LUNCH” (Darkroom/Interscope) is now Top 15 with a closed-out panel and was a Top 5 Greatest Spin leader this week. Camila Cabello’s “HE KNOWS” f/Lil Nas X (Geffen) is heading Top 25 with 115+ stations spinning, while d4vd’s “Feel It” (Darkroom) has charted with 40+ stations on board, including Music Choice, HITS1, KMVQ and KDWB.

Virgin’s Halpern crew impacted Mark Ambor’s “Belong Together” (Hundred Days) in the Top 10 Most Added column and has pulled in 40+ early adds, including majors HITS1, WWWQ, WXKS and KKRZ. The track is set to debut on the chart this week.

RCA’s Rothschild, Maldonado, JR & Daddio are happily sitting in the #1 spot on the T40 chart with SZA’s “Saturn” (TDE). They also had two songs in the Top 10 Most Added this week with Isabel LaRosa’s newly released “favorite” (SlumboLabs), which scored 25 adds on impact and is chartbound, and Kane Brown & Marshmello’s multiformat hit “Miles on It” (RCA Nashville), which posted 12 new adds and is currently on 120+ stations and heading Top 20.

Warner’s Chester & Reich have Dua Lipa’s “Illusion” set to join the Top 10 with a closed-out panel to push it forward. They also impacted Teddy Swims’ “The Door” this week with 42 adds and were the #2 Most Added song at T40. Benson Boone’s “Slow It Down” (Night Street) is now Top 25 with big spins coming in from KMIK, Music Choice and WXKS. Dasha’s “Austin” is perched in the Top 30 with new adds coming in from 11 new stations, including WKSC, WKSL and WKRZ. David Guetta & OneRepublic’s “I Don’t Wanna Wait” (Parlophone U.K.) has charted with 50+ stations spinning.

Epic’s Sackheim & Dimig have Madison Beer’s “Make You Mine” (Sing It Loud) set to join the Top 20 with 135+ stations on board. Future & Metro Boomin’s “Like That” f/Kendrick Lamar (Boominati/Freebandz/Republic), which is currently #1 at Rhythm and Urban, debuts on the T40 chart with 40+ stations and another week of 20m+ streams.

REPUBLIC CORPSSpangler, Lucas & Dumler have three fast-moving tracks in the Top 10, including Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” (Island), which is the Greatest Gainer in the Top 10 and it is currently #5. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” f/Post Malone (Republic) is climbing up in the Top 10 with a closed-out panel and is now at #7, and Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” f/Morgan Wallen (Big Loud/Mercury) joins the Top 10 with a closed-out panel.
