We are heading into summer… are we ready to start the debate about what the “Song of the summer” will be? Summer tours, summer radio shows… here we go!

REPUBLIC CORPSSpangler, Romeo and Dumler kicked off their summer fun by dropping Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” f/Morgan Wallen (Big Loud/Mercury). Impacting with 136 adds out of the box, the track is already Top 20 bound in its debut week. Ariana Grande’s “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” (Republic) looks poised to make the #1 jump next week, and they’re also in setup mode for her other single, “the boy is mine,” which has already pulled in 20 early stations. Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” f/Post Malone looks to join the Top 5, while Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” (Mercury) lands in the Top 10 and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” (Island) is now Top 15 and climbing quickly. KENZ PD Rick Vaughn says, “Don’t listen to me, listen to the song, it belongs on T40… perfect song for radio.” Meanwhile, Muni Long has been chosen as Audacy’s newest T40 Launch artist. With 76 stations already spinning, her track “Made for Me” (Def Jam) is Top 30 bound.

Team Dyer is back at it again as they impact two tracks that both landed in the Top 10 Most Added at Pop this week with RM’s “Come Back to Me” (Big Hit) pulling in 30 adds and Lukas Graham’s “Cheat Code” (United/Then We Take The World) grabbing 17 adds. Graham’s track also scored Top 10 Most Added honors at Rhythm and Hot AC. Additionally, they stacked another eight adds on Jagwar Twin’s “Bad Feeling” (Big Loud Rock), which is headed for the Top 30.

RCA’s Rothschild, Maldonado, JR & Daddio closed out the panel on SZA’s “Saturn” (TDE), which is moving Top 5 and looks set to hit the top of the chart shortly. Kane Brown & Marshmello’s “Miles on It” (RCA Nashville) was the #1 Most Added track on impact and pulled in another 19 adds; it’s headed for the Top 25 after just two weeks. Justin Timberlake’s “No Angels” is now Top 25 with 125+ stations on board, including HITS1, Z100, WBBM and KYLD. Doja Cat’s “OKLOSER” (Kemosabe) is on 110+ stations, with big spin leaders Music Choice, HITS1, KYLD and WWPW leading the way; it’s Top 25 bound.

Epic’s Sackheim & Dimig move Meghan Trainor & T-Pain’s “Been Like This” closer to the Top 20, posting new adds this week from KALV, KMJK and WKSL; there are now 129 stations on board. Future & Metro Boomin’s “Like That” f/Kendrick Lamar (Wilbrn/Boominati/Freebandz/Republic) amasses 30m+ streams again this week, and it’s #1 at Rhythm and chart-bound at Pop. Madison Beer’s “Make You Mine” (Sing It Loud) is Top 20 at Pop and #1 at Dance Radio.

ICLG’s Team Marella impacted Camila Cabello’s “HE KNOWS” f/Lil Nas X (Geffen) as the #2 Most Added track at T40 with 83 adds, including WKSC, WIHT, WXKS and WHYI; it should move quickly. Olivia Rodrigo’s “Obsessed” (Geffen) looks to join the Top 10 as a Greatest Gainer for the week, while d4vd’s “Feel It” (Darkroom/Interscope) has pulled in 35 adds, including HITS1, KMVQ, KDWB and KENZ, and is bubbling just under the chart. Gracie Abrams is iHeart’s new “On the Verge Artist” and her single “Risk” (Interscope) is chart-bound with 41 early stations on board, including KIIS, Z100, WKSC and KHTS.
