Let’s see… catching up with numerous friends in NYC, check; running around in the rain, check; attending Alissa Pollack’s Taste of Hope and having a blast, check; experiencing an EARTHQUAKE in NYC, check and WTH!!! Hats off to iHeart’s Alissa for an outstanding event that brought so many of us together for a GREAT cause.

Things are really heating up over at Warner. Chester & Reich have the current #1 on the Pop chart with Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” while Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” (Night Street) is perched at #2. They also have the #15 track with Dua Lipa’s “Training Season,” which has an almost-closed-out panel and big spin increases coming in from WIOQ, KBKS and KMXV.

ICLG’s Team Marella is also firing on all cylinders with Reneé Rapp’s “Not My Fault” (Interscope) eyeing the Top 10 with a nearly-closed-out panel on board. Olivia Rodrigo’s “obsessed” (Geffen) is Top 15 and it was the #2 Greatest Spin Gainer and the #3 Audience Gainer last week. B97’s PD Jammer PD says, “Olivia is bubbling up to be the musical voice of a fresh generation … ‘obsessed’ is just the tip of the iceberg.” Meanwhile, Selena Gomez’s “Love On” is Top 20 with 14m+ video views.

RCA’s Rothschild, Maldonado, JR & Daddio have Justin Timberlake’s “Selfish” Top 10 at Pop and #1 at Hot AC. They also have his newest single, “No Angels,” as a Top 10 Most Added track. Victoria Monét’s “On My Mama” (Lovett Music) is heading Top 15 as a Top 5 Airplay Gainer with 150 stations onboard. SZA’s “Saturn” (TDE) is Top 20 MB, Top 10 on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits and Top 10 on Apple Music’s Today’s Hits.

Team Dyer has two big tracks on the Pop chart this week. USHER’s “Kissing Strangers” (mega/gamma.) is heading Top 25 and pulled in majors KRBE and KZZP this week; there are now 100+ stations on board. Meanwhile, Jagwar Twin’s “Bad Feeling” (Big Loud Rock) has debuted on the chart with 40 stations coming on board early, including Music Choice, HITS1, KHKS and WBZZ.

Republic CorpsSpangler, Lucas & Dumler put Ariana Grande’s “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” in the Top 10 and it looks to join the Top 5 shortly with major rotations coming in from KIIS, KMVQ, WZPL and KSLZ. Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” (Mercury) is eyeing the Top 10 with 145+ stations, while Nicki Minaj’s “Everybody” f/Lil Uzi Vert is Top 15 and The Weeknd’s “One of the Girls” f/JENNIE (XO) is Top 20 with 150+ stations spinning. Muni Long’s “Made for Me” (Supergiant/Def Jam) was Top 10 Most Added again this week and has debuted on the chart.

Columbia’s Gray, Burress & Bedard are still celebrating the biggest album of 2024 as Beyoncé’s COWBOY CARTER continues to post huge numbers each day. Her track “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” (Parkwood) is surging in streams and is Top 5 at Pop, Rhythm and Hot AC. And here comes “II MOST WANTED” f/Miley Cyrus, which has amassed 24m+ U.S. to date. Hozier’s “Too Sweet,” which is #1 on Spotify U.S., was the week’s #1 Most Added track with 51 new adds and is already Top 30 bound. Jessie Murph & Jelly Roll’s “Wild Ones” is Top 25 with 100 stations on board.

Epic’s Sackheim & Dimig are also dropping hits at Pop as 21 Savage’s “redrum” enjoys another week in the Most Added column with early airplay from KIIS, KMVQ, WKQI and KBFF; the track debuted on the chart and is Top 30 bound. Meghan Trainor & T-Pain’s “Been Like This” was Top 10 Most Added for the fourth consecutive week and is on 100+ stations as it heads Top 25. Madison Beer, who’s has a huge U.S. tour about to kick off, is heading Top 25 with “Make You Mine” (Sing It Loud).

In2une’s Connone & Lucek have a runaway smash on their hands with Djo’s “End of Beginning” (AWAL). Once again a Top 3 Most Added track, it’s now spinning on 130+ stations, including HITS1, Music Choice, Z100 and KIIS, as well as Top 20 bound with massive consumption and streaming numbers. Meanwhile, The Beaches’ “Blame Brett” heads Top 30 with early airplay from HITS1, KMVQ, KHKS and KDWB.
