And we’re off! It was a huge first add week with lots of new product and major action coming out the holidays instead of the normal slow move into the year! Here we go, 2023.

RCA’s Rothschild, Maldonado, JR & Daddio knocked it out of the park by impacting two SZA tracks this week and landing the top two spots on the add board. “Kill Bill” (TDE) stacked 111 adds for top honors and “Nobody Gets Me” pulled in 85 for a grand total of 196 adds at Pop. Impressive! Both tracks have charted and look Top 25 bound.

“I started spiking ‘Nobody Gets Me’ over the holiday even before I had spent any time with ‘Kill Bill,’ but with both records streaming nearly 40m combined (29m+ for ‘Kill Bill’ alone) how do you not add them both? This will be a pop breakout year for SZA!” Said KDWB PD, Rich Davis.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown’s “Under the Influence” (Chris Brown Ent.) garnered another 17 adds, including Z100, KDWB, KSLZ and WFLZ, and it’s in the Top 20 already. P!nk’s “Never Gonna Not Dance Again” is Top 25 at Pop and Top 10 at Hot AC. It also stacked another 38 adds this week with support from majors like WXKS, WHQC, KKRZ and WEZB.

Interscope’s Romano & Lopes put 54 more adds on Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” this week, including WKSC,KMVQ, WWWQ and WITH. It was a Top 5 Most Added track. Rema & Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down” also landed in the Most Added column this week and pulled in 27 new stations as it moved Top 20.

Epic’s Sackheim, Afloarei & Dimig have Meghan Trainor’s “Made You Look” set to join the Top 5 with 2.8m+ TikTok creations and nearly 270m streams. Black Eyed Peas’ “SIMPLY THE BEST” f/Anitta & El Alfa is heading Top 30 with WKTU, HITS1, KHKS and WNCI leading the charge. Regard & Drop - G’s “No Love for You” is chartbound after pulling in airplay from WKSC, WWPW, WIOQ and WBLI.

Columbia’s Gray, Burruss, Bedard, Stevens & Brenner have Beyoncé’s “Cuff It” (Parkwood) looking to join the Top 10 after securing strong research numbers in L.A., NYC, ATL, Philly and…should I go on? Rosa Linn’s “SNAP” is Top 15 bound after 20 weeks on the chart. And the biggest news by far coming out the Columbia team this week is the launch of Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers,” which drops 1/13. Watch it go!

Over at Warner, Chester & Dyer have David Guetta & Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good (Blue)” Top 3 and eyeing the #1 spot. Joji’s “Die for You” was Top 10 Most Added with stations including KBKS, WPOI, WBLI and WNKS. It’s now Top 30.

Arista’s Team Petropoulos is continuing to build the story on Beach Weather’s “Sex, Drugs, Etc.,” which is starting to pull in some good early callout. It’s officially charted and is moving near the Top 30.

The Orchard’s Buch, Sarullo and crew put RAYE’s “Escapism.” f/070 Shake in the Top 5 out-of-the-box with adds from HITS1, Z100, KIIS, B96 and KYLD, just to name a few of the majors. Not only has it already charted, but the streaming monster is #1 on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits with 1m+ TikTok creations and 150m+ streams in just 10 weeks.

Capitol’s Marella, Nolletti, Acampora & Siciliano are still enjoying that #1 seat on the Mediabase chart with Sam Smith & Kim Petras’ “Unholy” ahead of Smith’s album drop on 1/27. Lewis Capaldi’s “Forget Me” is heading Top 5 at Hot AC as a Greatest Gainer and is currently Top 15 at Pop as it continues to climb.

In2une’s Connone & Lucek have their eyes set on Top 10 with a closed-out panel on JVKE’s “golden hour” as the streaming numbers continue to get bigger and bigger.

Republic’s Spangler & Lucas put Taylor Swift’s “Anti Hero” at the top of the chart over the holidays while “Lavender Haze” is now Top 15. The Weeknd’s “Die for You” (XO) continues to climb inside the Top 5, while Coi Leray’s “Players” is chartbound and setting up for launch with early airplay coming from in from KHKS, KIIS, WNRW and WXSS. Republic, along with Island’s Schiffman, launched the new Sabrina Carpenter single, “Nonsense,” with 31 adds on impact. It’s bubbling just under the chart with support from majors like Z100, KMVQ, WXKS, Y100 and KDWB. Set to join the Top 20 is charlieonnafriday’s “Enough.” Spin leaders on this one includes HITS1, Music Choice, and B96.
