iHeartMedia has tapped Brandon “Buster” Satterfield, who most recently served as Assistant PD at 93.3 FLZ in Tampa, to be the new PD at Philly's Q102. He's also served as PD for Indianapolis' WNOW and Philly's WRDW; he began his career at WKQI Detroit.
“Brandon brings a unique combination of Top 40 radio experience on and off the air, as well as knowledge of the market and passion for everything Philly,” said iHeartMedia Philadelphia SVP Programming Brian Check, to whom Satterfield will report. “His dedication to the brand and keen eye for programming and the latest music make him the perfect fit.”
“I’m thrilled to come back to the 215,” Satterfield shared. “Q102 has a history of market-leading programming and I’m passionate about the Top 40 format and honored to join the iHeartMedia Philadelphia team. Thank you, iHeartMedia, for handing me the keys to this sweet ride!”
If a career at iHeartMedia is a "ride," it is without a doubt a luxury vehicle. We're confident, however, that a career at HITS equates to something like a Yugo.
