Tony Matteo is headed west. iHeartMedia’s Region Senior Vice President of Programming for its Omaha Region has beennamed Region Senior Vice President of Programming for Central California/Nevada.
Matteo’s new gig involves working with on-air personalities and program directors from the 36 radio station brands in the Central California/Nevada region and overseeing on-air content and music programming.
Already a dominant media outlet in Las Vegas, iHeart is looking to Matteo to increase overall growth in the region. Its properties there include 95.5 The Bull, Sunny 106.5, 93.7 The River and REAL 103.9.
“We're excited to bring someone of Tony’s caliber to the Central California / Nevada region,” said Glynn Alan, President of iHeartMedia’s Central California/Nevada Region. “His experience and leadership will propel our ratings and revenue growth across the region.”
