The hits just keep comin’—it seems every week we have a major release or THREE. It’s going to be a very busy summer, and programmers are finding it harder and harder to navigate their scheduling logs. What will the “Song of the Summer” be? Stay tuned… Epic’s Team Glassman continues its hot streak, taking the top of the Add board this week with the newly released “Down” from Fifth Harmony f/Gucci Mane one week prior to impact and pulling in 58 adds. Camila Cabello’s “Crying In The Club” (Syco), after being Most Added last week, is back in the Top 10 Most Added and has already climbed inside the Top 25. DJ Khaled f/Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne’s “I’m The One” (We The Best) is marching toward the top of the chart and was one of the week’s Greatest Gainers. There are already 30 stations spinning French Montana f/Swae Lee’s “Unforgettable” (Bad Boy) as it crosses over to Pop from Rhythm; stations include WBMP, WODS and WPOW Glassnote’s Nick Petropoulos is stacking up the call letters on Childish Gambino’s “Redbone.” For the fourth week in a row it was in the Top 10 Most Added, scoring adds from WDZH, KZZP and WHQC. The track charted this week and it was #1 Shazam in the US. The sales and streams are still very strong… Capitol’s Marella, Rainey, & Siciliano have Halsey’s “Now or Never” (Astralwerks) in the Top 10 just as the album debuted #1. The single was one of the week’s Greatest Gainers, is Top 15 Shazam and has 24M views on YouTube. Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” is now Top 20 and #3 iTunes Pop, new adds this week from KLIF, WWPW, KPWK and KHFI. Sam Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road” (MCA Nashville) joins the Top 30 this week scoring new airplay form B96, WIHT and WXSS. Katy Perry f/Nicki Minaj’s “Swish Swish” is heading toward Top 30 and was once again in the Top 10 Most Added, posting 20 new stations, including WKSC, WIOQ and WZFT. Jon Bellion’s “Overwhelming” is now on 60+ stations and is chart-bound… Caroline’s Saturn, Halpern and Holman continue to grow Hey Violet’s “Break My Heart” the track has charted and is on 125+ stations including new at Z100, WFLZ and WKFSRECORDSJohn Strazza is set to chart Noah Cyrus’ “Stay Together” there are currently 90+ stations spinning the track including KLUC, HITS1, WDZH and Y100... Republic’s CW, Spangler and Russell continue to grow Julia Michaels’ “Issues” inside the Top 10 as it heads Top 5 and remains in the Top 10 at Shazam and iTunes. The Greatest Gainer on the chart this week is Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee f/Justin Bieber’s “Despacito” (UMLE/RBMG/Def Jam) as it looks set to join the Top 5 soon, it’s #1 U.S. iTunes, U.S. & Global Spotify and U.S. Shazam. Shawn Mendes “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” (Island) is now Top 15 and was in the Top 10 Greatest Gainer column this week. Liam Payne f/Quavo’s “Strip That Down” joins the Top 30 this week with 150+ stations on board after just two weeks. Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls” charts this week with over 17M views in one week on the video. Post Malone f/Quavo’s “Congratulations” has charted and is #5 U.S. Spotify and is on over 110+ stations including KHTS, KHKS, WXSS and VenusWarner Bros Gray, Dyer, Reich and Shih impacted Bebe Rexha’s “The Way I Are,” putting it in the Top 10 Most Added with 25 new adds, including WKSC, WKQI, KUDD and WRNW. Watch for this one to chart soon. Jason Derulo f/Nicki Minaj & Ty Dolla $ign’s “Swalla” (Beluga Heights) is now Top 20 and has all but closed out the panel. Dua Lipa’s “Be The One” has charted and pulled in airplay from KDIS, KCHZ, KKRZ and KKDMS-Curve’s David Nathan has AJR’s “Weak” heading toward the Top 25 with 160+ stations on board, spin leaders include WFLC, WNKS and WLDIDef Jam’s Sackheim, Rothschild and Farag are dropping “2U”—the new David Guetta & Justin Bieber track—this week, and there is already a huge buzz, but the official add date isn’t until 6/19. Logic f/Alessia Cara & Khalid’s “1-800-273-8255” is close to charting and was once again in the Most Added column this week, scoring an additional 23 adds. The album debuted at #1 and there are already 48M streams in the first month. Iggy Azalea f/Anitta’s “Switch” is headed toward the chart, with help from KIIS, WBMP, WODS & WBLIRCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio and Cooper impacted M0’s “Nights With You” (Chess Club/RCA Victor), posting 15 new adds and landing in the Most Added Column. Miley Cyrus’ “Malibu” has all but cleared the panel and is heading Top 15 this week. Khalid’s “Location” (Right Hand) is heading toward the chart with 60+ stations spinning, including KMVQ, WQMP and KALV. Tinashe “Flame” continues to grow spins and climb toward the chart. Frankie’s “Problems Problems” has pulled in airplay from KMXV, KALV and KDIS and is chart-bound… Hollywood’s Finck, Smith and Ennis have pulled in airplay from HITS1, WAKS and 28 others as they head toward the chart with Shawn Hook f/Vanessa Hudgen’s “Reminding Me”... Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan have James Arthur’s “Say You Wont Let Go” heading Top 5; it’s certified Platinum in 30+ countries and has been Top 5 Shazam for more than three months. Harry Styles’ “Sign Of The Times” continues to grow spins and is heading Top 10.
