What the hell is going on? Seriously! The only good thing for us is that in bad times and/or dark days, music thrives. Music feeds the soul and right now we are in need of good marching tunes. Be kind to each other and stand up for what you believe in. Now, where is my corkscrew …. It’s gonna be a rough ride.

Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothchild & Farag have the #1 song on the chart, Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful,” for a second week, and Rihanna continues to grow spins inside the Top 10 with “Love On The Brain” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation). Big Sean’s “Bounce Back” (G.O.O.D.) is impacting this week and is already Top 5 at Urban and approaching Top 5 at Rhythm; early major market airplay on the pop side of things is coming in from WBMP, KAMP and WODS.

Capitol’s Marella, Rainey & Siciliano are impacting Sigma f/Birdy’s “Find Me” (Astralwerks). Early believers on board are KALV, KEGY, WBMP and KVIL, and the track is being used for the marketing campaign for NBC’s new show Chicago Justice. Niall Horan’s “This Town” continues to grow spins, and post big sales and Shazam numbers each week; this week it posted Top 5 RTM research. Jon Bellion’s “All Time Low” is now certified Platinum and #5 Pop Consumption on the BuzzAngle chart. Nevada f/Mark Morrison & Fetty Wap’s “The Mack” (Straightforward) pulled in KBFF and XHTZ on impact; there are already eight stations on board for this week. Scott Calum’s “Dancing On My Own” has charted and climbed to #36 with 70+ stations on board. It also has 131m Spotify streams.

Mom & Pop’s David Jacobs has Flume f/Tove Lo’s “Say It” set to join the Top 25—the track is in rotation at more than 100 stations and is pulling in 5m Spotify streams a week. New stations this week include B96 and WWWQ.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan have The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” (Disruptor) heading toward Top 10 in just a few short weeks—it was the #1 Greatest Gainer again this week and is Top 5 iTunes and Top 5 U.S. Spotify. Adele’s “Water Under the Bridge” (XL) is poised to join the Top 15 with help from big increases from Z100, KHTS and KALV. James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” (Syco) should join the chart this week with 60+ stations already on board. Little Mix’ “Shout Out to My Ex” is chart-bound, pulling in 20+ stations on impact, among them WWPW, WIOQ, WZFT and WNCI.

S-Curve’s David Nathan is stacking up call letters on AJR’s “Weak” (AJR/RED) with 25 stations on board. This one is chart-bound soon. Jared Fallon, PD, WIOQ, (pictured) says “I loved ‘Weak’ from the moment I heard it. This could be a huge record.”

RECORDSJohn Strazza is off to the races with Noah Cyrus f/Labrinth’s “Make Me (Cry).” It moves Top 25 this week and has 150+ stations on board. Big spin leaders include WEZB, KDIS and WZPL.

Caroline’s Saturn, Halpern & Holman have moved Hey Violet’s “Guys My Age” (5Mode) Top 25 and are looking to join the Top 20. Big spin increases this week come from KLUC, WDZH, KZZP and KIIS. Watch for this one to climb soon.

Warner Bros.’ Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih continue to build the story on BeBe Rexha’s “I Got You” which joins the Top 20 this week after posting some pretty impressive callout in RTM—there were 14 new adds this week including HITS1, WXKS, WFLZ and WRNW. Lukas Graham’s “You’re Not There” joined the Top 25 this week. PARTYNEXTDOOR’S “Not Nice” (OVO) is bubbling just under and looking to chart as Venus, KBFF, KUDD and KLUC come on board.

RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio & Cooper have charted G-Eazy f/Marc E Bassy’s “Some Kind of Drug” and pulled in 11 new stations; adds include KQMV, KDWB and WIHT. Lost Kings f/Emily Warren’s “Phone Down” (Disruptor) is #1 on Google Play Music’s “Ones to Watch for 2017:” and are off to a great start at Top 40 pulling in strong early airplay from WKSC, KHTS, WBMP and KALV. Impacting this week is Snakehips & MO’s “Don’t Leave.”

Hollywood’s Finck, Smith & Ennis charted Sabrina Carpenter’s “Thumbs” with 90+ stations on board and new spins from WWMX, KXXM and WHHY.

Republic’s CW, Spangler & Russell are at it again stacking up one hit after another. Last week they impacted Julia Michaels’ “Issues” and it debuted this week at #33. This week they are impacting Marian Hill’s “Down” (Photo Finish) and it is already on 75 stations, at #8 on iTunes and #2 U.S. Shazam. ZAYN/Taylor Swift join the Top 5 this week with “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” (UStudios/BMR/RCA). It was the #3 Greatest Gainer this week and is #1 U.S. Consumption on the BuzzAngle chart. Shawn Mendes’ “ Mercy” (Island) joins the Top 10 and has Top 5 callout. Coming off a very successful run at Rhythm, Amine’s “Caroline” is set to join the Top 30 and has pulled in 150 stations. The Weeknd has another Top 10 with “I Feel It Coming” f/Daft Punk (XO); it’s Top 3 U.S. Shazam and Top 10 iTunes. Drake’s “Fake Love” (YMCMB) was a Top 10 Greatest Gainer and joins the Top 20 with 170+ stations.

Epic’s Team Glassman are impacting Zara Larsson f/Ty Dollar $ign’s “So Good” this week and look for it at the top of the add board. They already have a ton of majors lined up including KMVQ, KJKS, WBLI and WRVW, to name a few. Starley’s “Call On Me” is now at #34 and is the #13 Most Streamed Song in the World with 200m streams to date. Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps” (Grand Hustle) is on 25 stations and is looking to chart soon.
