Here in the south, we’re enjoying what is sure to be the last of our spring temperatures before the thermostats hit triple digits and the humidity rises up and slaps us in the face. It’ll be my first summer away from the beach in over a decade, and I’m not sure how I feel about that!

Speaking of things getting hot, RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio & Cooper definitely lit things up this week when they dropped a new track from Justin Timberlake, “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” which has raced all the way up into the Top 20 in just a few days. It’s also currently occupies the #1 seat on iTunes; the only question left surrounds how big will that sales number be. P!nk’s “Just Like Fire” is now on more than 150 Pop stations, as it moves into the Top 20. GRACE f/G-Eazy’s “You Don’t Own Me” is #23, with KPTT, KLUC and Music Choice all coming in last week. Pitbull f/Enrique Iglesias’ “Messin’ Around,” which is Top 5 at Shazam in over 40 markets, climbs up to #26 on the airplay chart, with WKTU, WBMP and WKSC all on board. Sia f/Sean Paul’s “Cheap Thrills” (Monkey Puzzle) is #1 at Shazam worldwide for the second straight week, while #1 on Shazam’s pop chart and #6 at Spotify worldwide; new adds include KAMP, WXSS and WIHT. Meanwhile, Alan Walker’s “Faded” is on 100+ stations and is looking to chart this week.

Republic’s CW, Spangler (the new EVP) and Russell took over the #1 spot on the chart this week with Mike Posner’s “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” (Island). That one’s #1 on the Shazam USA Top 100 and Top 5 at Spotify in the U.S. and globally. Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” made the Top 10 jump this week, after posting Top 5 RTM callout. Drake f/Wizkid & Kyla’s “One Dance” (YMCMB) is about to join the Top 10, and he’s currently sitting atop the album sales chart. Nick Jonas f/Tove Lo’s “Close” (Island) is #14 and has Top 5 RTM callout showing up in many major markets. James Bay’s “Let It Go” moves up inside the Top 20 with help from KIIS, WWMX and WZFT, as they all move it to power rotation.

Epic’s Team Glassman has two singles in the Top 5 this week: Fifth Harmony f/Ty Dolla $ign’s “Work From Home” (SYCO), which just went #1 at Rhythm, and Zara Larsson & MNEK’s “Never Forget You,” which is currently at #5. Jennifer Lopez’s “Ain’t Your Mama” officially impacts this week. The video is #1 on iTunes. Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” (We The Best) impacted with majors WBMP, WODS, WWPW and Y100. Timeflies’ “Once in a While” was Most Added at Pop for two weeks and is looking to chart with the help of Hits 1, KDIS, WIOQ and WPOI.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih were all away at the WBR meetings last week, but watch out; they’re back and working on moving Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” to the top of the chart. Jason Derulo’s “If It Ain’t Love” (Beluga Heights) continues to climb up inside the Top 20; it got big spin increases this week from Hits 1, WAPE and XHTZ. Bebe Rexha f/Nicki Minaj’s “No Broken Hearts” charted this week and has 115+ stations on board.

Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothschild & Farag have moved Alessia Cara’s “Wild Things” Top 15 with help from Music Choice, WWMX, WKSC and WMKS. Rihanna’s “Kiss It Better” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) is now #23 and just posted Top 5 RTM callout in almost every cell. Expect that one to move up quickly. Desiigner’s “Panda” (G.O.O.D.) has pulled in major market airplay from WPOW, WBBM, Z100 and KEGY, just to name a few. After debuting at #35, it’s already making the Top 30 move. Jeremih’s “Oui” has charted at Pop after going #1 at both Urban and Rhythm, and Alesso’s “I Wanna Know” now has 27 stations, including WNCI, WZPL and Y100 and is looking to chart.

Mom+Pop’s David Jacobs has Flume f/Kai’s “Never Be Like You” moving up the chart with 160+ stations on board. With help from big increases from KAMP, WBBM and Venus this week, it should be Top 30 soon.

Artbeatz/Red’s Buch, Halpern and Weil moved Daya’s “Sit Still, Look Pretty” to #35 this week. There are 100+ stations on board, as KHTS, KNOU and WKSE all jump in and Hits 1, WHQC and Venus move it up in rotation.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan are already pulling in commitments for Beyoncé’s “Sorry”; WBMP, WZMP, WODS and WPXY are some of the first to commit. The Chainsmokers f/Daya’s “Don’t Let Me Down” is now Top 10, moving up to #7 this week. Ruth B’s “Lost Boy,” which moves up a notch to #19, has #1 research at WRVW and #2 overall research at WNOW. And last, but certainly not least, Calvin Harris f/Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For” is on fire; it’s already Top 20, while #7 on iTunes.

MUSIC WE LOVE: Charly Black’s “Gyal You a Party Animal” (Aftercluv Dancelab), Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” (We the Best/Epic).
