The next few weeks are going to be filled with major artists’ releases just in time for those holiday purchases. This is going to make it very interesting for programmers, who’ll try to get everything on the air and into rotation as national platforms continue to eat up spins and dominate the charts… Hang on tight; we’re on that downhill slide of 2015!

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan dropped the new track from Adele, “Hello” (XL), which skyrocketed to #1 in 80+ territories. The smash is currently sitting at #33 on the chart and is the #1 single at iTunes, while the album, in pre-order, is also #1 at iTunes, It’s worth noting that the video has already garnered 150m+ views. One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” (SYCO) moves to #6, just as their next single “Perfect“ debuts on the chart. Calvin Harris & Disciples’ “How Deep Is Your Love” moves to #16 and continues to climb toward the top of the chart. The Chainsmokers f/Rozes’ “Roses” pulled in new adds last week from KDIS, WBLI and WKSE. Coleman Hell’s “2 Heads” impacted last week with eight adds, including KNOU, WPXY and WKRZ. Def Jam
’s Sackheim, Rothschild & Farag also launched a big one last week with the second single from Justin Bieber’s 11/13 release, Purpose; the track, titled “Sorry,” has already charted and climbed to #34. Look for this one to clear the panel this week. Alessia Cara’s “Here” climbs inside the Top 15 and is one of this week’s Greatest Gainers.

Epic
