Buy, sell… No, just hold on for the ride! Wall Street was definitely dancing on Monday, and with everything dropping at Pop this week, programmers and promo staffs will surely be flashing their best dance moves too. Lots of big names are dropping this week, so there should be a lot of movement on the chart next week, as PDs make room for all the new additions. It’s sure to shake things up, as we gear up for those fourth quarter releases.

Republic’s CW, Spangler and Russell will have their plates full once again, launching both Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” (Big Machine) and Nick Jonas’ “Levels” (Safehouse/Island). Taylor’s official add date is 8/31, and, from the look of things, there should be big numbers posted for Nick this week. The Weeknd’s “The Hills” (XO) is off and running; it’s already reached #27, while posting big sales and Shazam numbers. Oh, and let’s not forget that “Can’t Feel My Face” is still the #1 track at Pop. Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” debuted at #23 and is the #1 Greatest Gainer for the second week in a row. Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” (DCD2/Island) is sitting at #10, ready to make the jump; with the callout at both RateTheMusic and Mediabase, it should happen soon. Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” (Island) has monster callout, and the chart climb is on, as the track moves up to #22. Felix Jaehn’s “Ain’t Nobody” was Most Added on impact and is quickly growing with help from Y100, SiriusXM’s Venus, WWPW and KBFF.

The joint promo effort between Republic and Hollywood’s Finck, Smith and Ennis sees Demi Lovato’s “Cool for the Summer” (Safehouse) move up inside the Top 10 to #7, just as Demi lands on the cover of Cosmo. Hollywood, meanwhile, is off and running with Bea Miller’s “Fire N Gold,” which is bubbling just under the chart, ready to make a move. You can also expect the newest track from Andy Grammer, “Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah)” (S-Curve), to land on your desk this week.

RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio, Cooper & Strazza have a runaway train in R. City f/Adam Levine’s “Locked Away” (Kemosabe) which is currently #12 and continually one of the Greatest Gainers & Most Added week after week. This one looks headed for the top of the chart. KZHT PD Jeff McCartney says, “R. City is nowhere near locked away anymore. The secret is out! These guys are stars, and this song is a smash!” Team Nipper had two tracks that charted this week; Kygo’s “Firestone” (#37) had another big week of adds, pulling in majors WKTU, WDZH and Z90, and Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s” (#40) is in the Shazam Top 10 in almost every market where there’s airplay.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih are impacting Kaya Stewart’s “Let’s Split” this week, and the call letters are starting to stack up, as KXXM, KUDD and WKSS all jump on the board. Meanwhile, WIHT jumped on Jason Derulo’s “Cheyenne” (Beluga Heights), which continues to move up inside the Top 20. Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” continues to grow spins inside the Top 25. Just as Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ leaked first single, “Growing Up” (Macklemore), charts this week, reaching #35, the official single, “Downtown,” is scheduled to hit desks come 8/27.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan continue to grow Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” inside the Top 10. It remains Top 10 at iTunes as well. One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” (SYCO)—amid all of the band’s hiatus rumors—moves all the way up to Top 15. The new video already racked up 20m views in the three days since its release. Little Mix’s “Black Magic” (SYCO) pulled in KZHT, WKSS, WWST and KDLW last week and is now Top 25. Calvin Harris & Disciples’ “How Deep Is Your Love” is Top 30; it pulled in 11 adds last week, including WKSC, WLDI, KWNW and WNRW. Hozier’s “Someone New” is moving closer to the chart; it garnered 12 adds last week, including KMXV, G105 and WKCI.

Artbeatz/Red’s Buch, Halpern & Weil should chart Daya’s “Hide Away” this week. The track will be backed by Premium Choice this week; WZFT and WJIM are on the board. Daya also appeared on the Today Show this week as Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month.

Disruptor/RAL has pulled in a ton of majors to launch The Chainsmokers f/ROZES’ new single, “Roses”; KAMP, WODS, KHTS and KMZQ are all in early… Global Entertainment’s Team Palmese have moved Nathan Sykes’ “Kiss Me Quick” to #33 and pulled in new supporters: WNRW, WDJX, WFBC and WLAN. On iTunes Radio, the track has been played more than 1m times, and it’s been streamed 9m+ times to date.

In case you’ve been sleeping under a rock and are unaware, Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothschild & Farag are launching the new Justin Bieber single, “What Do You Mean,” on 8/28. From what we hear, this one should come out of the box and go screaming up the chart. Afrojack’s “SummerThing!” is on over 100 stations and the early research says it’s a hit, as the track moves Top 30 this week. Alessia Cara’s “Here” charted and has some big believers in Z100, WBMP, WIOQ and WBBM.

There’s lots happening at Epic for Team Glassman. A Great Big World’s “Hold Each Other” (Black Magnetic) jumped up to #34 this week and got some big spin increases from WIHT, KHKS and KHFI, while Meghan Trainor f/John Legend’s “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” continued to post impressive research and huge Shazam numbers. Fifth Harmony’s “I’m in Love With a Monster” (SYCO) pulled in 30 new stations and jumped 15 spots on the chart this week; their single, “Worth It” f/Kid Ink, remains in the Top 10. And launching this week is Paul Rey’s “Good as Hell,” which already has 20 stations confirmed and should wind up in the Most Added column.

Capitol’s Reese, Rainey, Youngblood & Siciliano have three tracks growing inside the Top 20. First up, 5 Seconds of Summer’s “She’s Kinda Hot” moves to #14 and shows no signs of slowing down. There’s also Tori Kelly’s “Should’ve Been Us,” which is at #16. Finally, Silento’s “Watch Me,” currently #19, just landed the new DWTS fall promo sync. Disclosure f/Sam Smith’s “Omen” is sitting just outside the Top 30. Last week, it pulled in 12 new stations, including WHQC, WZPL, KTFM.

MUSIC WE LOVE: Paul Rey’s “Good as Hell” (Epic), Travis Mills f/T.I.’s “Young & Stupid” (Lava/Republic).
