Cumulus Media is realigning this week, moving Jan Jeffries from Chicago to Washington, D.C., while Rick Gillette moves from Washington D.C. to New York.
Gillette leaves WRQX-FM to take over WPLJ-FM New York, and Jeffries goes from WLS-FM to WRQX-FM D.C. Both will retain their Cumulus corporate programming roles.
“I’m excited because I’ll be able to be with my family,” said Jeffries, whose two grown children live in the Washington area. “It’s all positive for me.”
No replacement has yet been named for the vacated PD position in Chicago.
