We have no fucking idea.
COUNTRY'S NEWEST DISRUPTOR
Three chords and some truth you may not be ready for.
AI IS ALREADY EATING YOUR LUNCH
The kids can tell the difference... for now.
WHO'S BUYING THE DRINKS?
That's what we'd like to know.

With the numbers being thrown around about how much DJs are being paid, along with the news of Drake’s impending Apple deal and big offers on the table for Pharrell and David Guetta, I just wanna throw it out there that I have “two turntables and a microphone” and a computer!! Sign me up!
Republic’s CW, Spangler and Russell have another monster in Taylor Swift f/Kendrick Lamar’s “Bad Blood” (Big Machine). Not only is it this week’s Greatest Gainer, but it debuted at #10 on the chart. Tove Lo is now Top 5 with “Talking Body” (Island) and has huge callout numbers that should move the rest of the panel into Power Rotation. Both Jessie J’s “Flashlight” (Lava) and Nick Fradiani’s “Beautiful Life” (19/Big Machine) launched with big numbers and should move up the chart quickly. Nicki Minaj, fresh off her iHeart Pool Party performance, moves up to #18 with “The Night Is Still Young” (YMCMB). Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” (DCD2/Island) just debuted at #3 Potential in Mediabase Callout, and WKSC and WFLZ are just two of the majors moving up this week. Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches” (Island) was Most Added on Impact, pulling in Z100, KIIS and SiriusXM Hits 1 and is already set to chart next week.
Glassman’s Team Epic is all smiles this week as Fifth Harmory’s “Worth It” (SYCO) is set to join the Top 10 this week, and as Y100 PD Alex Tear PD (pictured right) says, “The Harmonizers keep Fifth Harmony in the mix to kick off summer. This track continues to get positive feedback and solid scores.” And just as they get ready to launch Jidenna’s “Classic Man” (Wondaland) they’ve landed a new Beats commercial sync featuring Lebron James just in time for the NBA Finals.
Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothschild and Farag continue to grow Rihanna’s “American Oxygen” (Roc Nation); with big spin increases coming in this week and over 110 Pop stations already on board, it’s moved up to #34. Jeremih f/Flo Rida’s “Tonight Belongs to U” is bubbling just under and ready to chart with KBKS, KTFM and Z90 already banging it; it shouldn’t take long… RAL’s Weil and Halpern had Shaggy running this weekend, between the iHeart Pool Party and KTUphoria, he put on killer shows and was a total fan-favorite at both places. “I Need Your Love” f/Mohombi/Faydee/Costi is climbing the charts, and WXKS and Z100 both just moved it into SubPower off their great research.
Warner Bros.’ Gray, Dyer, Reich and Shih edge Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” (Beluga Heights) closer and closer to #1 with another 1000+ spin week. We’re told that Echosmith stole the show in Vegas, just as “Bright” moves up inside the Top 20. Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” continues to pick up steam as WFLZ, WZPL and KKXX all climb on board.
Hollywood’s Finck, Smith and Ennis have Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good” (S-Curve) climbing the chart and picking up new major market believers in KKHH, WBMP and WAPE.
RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Strazza, Daddio and Cooper continue to increase spins on Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” and edge closer and closer to the top of the chart. Sia’s “Elastic Heart” (Monkey Puzzle) added 12 new stations last week, including KDND, WFLC and KPTT; this week, she moves Top 25. Both Y100 and KTU have come on board with Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea’s “Pretty Girls,” as it moves up inside the Top 30. Pitbull f/Chris Brown’s “Fun” (Mr.305/Polo Grounds) is on over 100 Pop stations and picked up WAKS, KZON and WNOW this week. Prince Royce f/Pitbull’s “Back It Up” launches this week and already has Major Market support in KHTS, KMVQ and WKSC.
Capitol’s Reese, Rainey, Youngblood and Siciliano got some great early big market airplay from KZHT, WFLC and WBLI upon launching Sam Smith’s “Like I Can.” They also just charted with Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” (MCA Nashville). This is impact week for Tori Kelly’s “Should’ve Been Us” and it looks like it’ll be a big one.
Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris and Vaughn are all smiles over the research coming in on George Ezra’s “Budapest”; new this week are KDWB, WKSS and WRQX, and the story continues to grow. Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” is taking over the Pop playlist everywhere, and sales, streams and TV appearances are stacking up; this is a huge track for all things pop culture. OMI’s “Cheerleader” (Ultra) moves Top 25 and Calvin Harris f/HAIM’s “Pray to God” moves Top 20 just as they get ready to launch the new MKTO next week. Full steam ahead!!
MUSIC WE LOVE: Owl City f/Aloe Blacc’s “Verge” (Republic), Nathan Sykes’ “Kiss Me Quickly” (Global).
