POP MART'S BIG DAY

I'm not sure how many of you are still walking around out there in the desert trying to figure out the Madonna/Drake scenario, but I most definitely enjoyed the Instagram photos from “Opening Day” a lot more than I did the ones from Coachella! Also, hats off to Jordon Spieth for winning “The Green Jacket” and kudos for being on top of the leaderboard from the start to the finish. Ah, the Masters!

RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Strazza, Daddio and Cooper have some terrific callout and sales numbers on Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance,” which already has enough adds posted to place it in the Most Added Column again this week. Sit back and watch this one climb. Sia’s “Elastic Heart” (Monkey Puzzle) picked up WKTU, WHQC and WNCI and is looking to chart soon. Climbing into the Top 30 is Chris Brown & Tyga’s “Ayo,” which has spin leaders in WBMP, KHKS and WKQI to name a few of the majors. Deorro X Chris Brown’s “5 More Hours” picks up new play at WRDW, KJYO and WPLW. By the way, one of last week’s Most Added tracks was Martin Garrix f/Usher’s “Don’t Look Down.”

Epic’s Team Glassman continues to gain airplay on Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband,” which looks poised to make the Top 20 jump this week. Fifth Harmony f/Kid Ink’s “Worth It” (SYCO) moves up six spots to #26 and is a Top 20 single on iTunes. Life of Dillon’s “Overload” has research coming out of Nashville and Baltimore and is sitting at #36.

Hollywood’s Finck and Smith took home Most Added honors last week with R5’s “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” and are looking to chart this week with help from WAKS, KRBE and KRUF. Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good” (S-Curve) pulls in airplay from WKXJ and WNOW and moves #39-36.

Def Jam’s Sackheim, Chester, Rothchild and Farag have three tracks climbing the chart, including Iggy Azalea f/Jennifer Hudson’s “Trouble” (Grand Hustle), Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money" (Roc Nation), which went #50-44 this week and Alesso f/Roy English’s “Cool,” which is on over 55 stations including KAMP, Y100 and B96. Speaking of Azalea and Hudson, hopefully you caught the American Idol and/or the Fallon Performance, because both were great.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris and Vaughan have LunchMoney Lewis (Kemosabe) heading Top 25 with “Bills,” after picking up 7 new stations last week. George Ezra’s “Budapest” picked up WKST, WNVZ and XHTO, adding to the growing list of believers, and moved to #31. Dillon Francis f/DJ Snake’s “Get Low” pulled in 25 new stations last week; it’s also a Top 30 single on iTunes.

RAL’s Weil and Halpern continue to pull in majors on Shaggy f/Mohombi/Faydee/Costi’s “I Need Your Love”; Z100 and WXKS both joined the party based on callout in their markets. New adds this week include WKSS and KKHH.

Capitol’s Reese, Rainey, Youngblood and Siciliano are launching Ne-Yo’s “Coming With You” (Motown) this week; look for it to end up in the Most Added column. Tori Kelly’s “Nobody Love” continues to pick up spins, and Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” joins the Top 20 this week.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich and Shih moved Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” (Beluga Heights) Top 10 this week after just five weeks on the chart. This one shows no signs of slowing down. Echosmith’s “Bright” joins the Top 25 and picks up new play from WAPE, KBKS and WBHT. Jake Miller’s “Dazed and Confused” was Most Added on impact and adds new stations WNKS, KWNW and KLUC.

Republic’s CW, Spangler and Russell have the two Greatest Gainers inside the Top 10 as they move Natalie La Rose f/Jeremih’s “Somebody” (IMG) to #4 and The Weeknd’s “Earned It” up to #7. Ariana Grande’s “One Last Time” also picks up big spins inside the Top 10. Nick Jonas’ “Chains” (Island) is still increasing in spins, looking to join that upper tier. Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” (Island) picks up 1000 spins and continues to move up the chart. Joining the chart this week is Sheppard’s “Geronimo.”

MUSIC WE LOVE: Martin Garrix f/Usher’s “Don’t Look Down,” Axwell ^ Ingrosso’s “On My Way”
