RCA Goes 5 for 5

Congratulations to the New England Patriots for a job well done. Now maybe we can talk about something other than their “deflated balls”…

It’s Grammy Week!!! When are you getting in?? What parties are you going to??? Where are you staying??? When do you leave??? Ok, that about sums it up…

Kudos to RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Strazza, Daddio and Cooper. Not only is Mark Ronson f/Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” firmly planted at #1 on about every chart out there (Mediabase, iTunes, Spotify) for the second week in a row, but they also have five different tracks at five different formats sitting at #1! Damn impressive, gentlemen! While Pitbull f/Ne-Yo’s “Time of Our Lives” moves to #11 and Prince Royce f/Snoop Dogg’s “Stuck on a Feeling” moves to #16, they pull Z100, WHQC and WNOW in on Usher f/Juicy J’s “I Don’t Mind.” Labelmate Kelly Clarkson’s “Heartbeat Song” was #3 Most Added last week, and Becky G’s “Can’t Stop Dancing” garnered 65+ Pop Stations. Seriously not a bad week for team Riccitelli!

Columbia
’s Leipsner, Borris and Vaughan have moved Hozier’s Grammy-nominated smash, “Take Me to Church,” to #2 with help from great new callout at both iHeart Consolidated and RateTheMusic. After 13 weeks, Ella Henderson’s “Ghost” is poised to make the Top 10 move with hot fresh adds from B96, WKSC and WXSS. Coming off a Most Added week, Calvin Harris f/Ellie Goulding’s “Outside” is one of this week’s Greatest Gainers and gets big help from KZHT, KDND and WNFN. Olly Murs f/Travie McCoy’s “Wrapped Up” is steadily building great airplay with new stations, as WKSE, KMVQ and WKST jump onboard this week. And brace yourself for the upcoming impact of George Ezra’s “Budapest.” He was just named VH1’s latest You Oughta Know Artist...

Over at Capitol, Reese, Rainey, Youngblood and Siciliano are all smiles after Katy’s terrific Super Bowl half-time show. They’re now preparing to see what Sam Smith will bring home from the Grammys this weekend. Look for a strong add week on Smith’s “Lay Me Down” this week. NeYo f/Juicy J’s “She Knows” (Motown) moves inside the Top 30 with big new airplay from WNOW, WFBC and KKHH...

Def Jam
’s Sackheim, Chester, Rothschild and Farag have just about cleared the panel already on Rihanna, Kanye West & Sir Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds,” which was this week’s Greatest Gainer, debuting at #22. Kanye West f/Paul McCartney’s “Only One” is bubbling just under the chart and already has some great Pop scores at KEGY, KTFM and KZON. And things are about to get even hotter over there with a new track from Iggy Azalea, entitled “Trouble,” set to drop soon…

Epic
’s Glassman is clearly celebrating his Patriots win by moving Meghan Trainor’s “Lips Are Movin” to the Top 5, while both iHeart PC and Cumulus go to power rotation this week. Look for Zara Larsson’s “Uncover” to be one of this week’s Most Added…

Warner Bros.
Gray (not to be confused with the other Mr. Grey), Dyer and Reich pick up new airplay from KDWB, WRVQ and WHTS with Priory’s “Weekend.” Meanwhile, Echosmith’s “Bright” should be one of this week’s Most Added as well…

Republic’s CW, Spangler and Russell debut Jessie J’s “Masterpiece” on the chart this week after scoring 35+ adds last week. Be sure to watch for her performance at the Grammys this weekend. Natalie La Rose f/Jeremih’s “Somebody” is impacting now, picking up KIIS, AMP L.A. and N.Y.C., WWPW and WKQI, just to name a few of the majors. Taylor Swift’s “Style” (Big Machine) is heading toward the Top 10, as 1989 goes 4x Platinum. As for Island, both Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries” and Nick Jonas’ “Chains” continue to climb, and Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” is Most Added on impact…

Music we love: Who Is Fancy’s “Goodbye,” Axwell Ingrosso’s “Something New”
