ALEX WARREN: FAR FROM "ORDINARY"
(Jimmy Fontaine)
Atlantic singer-songwriter (and Mikey Parker signee) Alex Warren is heating the eff up. His latest single, "Ordinary," is #20 on Spotify U.S., and "Carry You Home" was the highest new entry yesterday (3/12) at #162.
"Burning Down," meanwhile, continues to climb at Pop radio and is now in the Top 15, with an alternate version featuring Joe Jonas expanding its reach. In the U.K., "Ordinary" is #3.
Warren’s rise follows the release of his 2024 debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), home to "Burning Down" and "Carry You Home." His catalog now boasts nearly 1.5b career streams. See vids below.
Currently on his sold-out Cheaper Than Therapy Global Tour—enthusiasm for which forced him to book ever-bigger venues—the Carlsbad, California, native already has a European run under his belt, which he will follow up by taking North American, beginning next month and including a 6/5 stop at L.A.’s Fonda Theatre. He'll then make his overseas festival debut at Munich’s SUPERBLOOM before going Down Under for a septet of shows.
Not for nothing, Warren recently became the first performer to appear on a (non-music) reality TV show when he sang "Ordinary" 3/9 on Netflix's Love Is Blind to close out season 8's much-watched reunion episode.
