LIZZO LEAVES SNL "TARRIFIED"
Lizzo was SNL's musical guest on Saturday (4/12) for the Jon Hamm-hosted episode. Rocking a crop top that read "TARRIFIED"—a not-so-subtle jab at our president's chaotic "economic" "policy"—the singer delivered a medley of her latest singles "Still Bad" and "Love in Real Life." She followed up with a performance of "Don't Make Me Love You." All three songs are expected to live on her forthcoming album, Love in Real Life (Nice Life/Atlantic).
The project serves as the follow-up to Lizzo's 2022 effort, Special, which debuted at #2 and produced the chart-topping single "About Damn Time." Special went on to land Grammy noms for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, while “About Damn Time” won Record of the Year, with additional nominations for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Lizzo's SNL appearance marks her first since 2022. Watch "Still Bad/Love in Real Life" and "Don't Make Me Love You" below. As for us, we couldn't make anyone love us if we tried.
