U2 GETS REAL
Real’s feed will offer multiple camera views, including cameras dedicated to each of the four members of the band, giving users the chance to, for instance, watch Larry Mullen Jr. and only Larry Mullen Jr. for the duration of the show. Users can, of course, switch among the various camera feeds, but after you’ve stopped in Larry Mullen Jr. Town, why would you want to go elsewhere?
The live feed will be available on the Real Broadcast Network and via Tiscali, Europe’s largest ISP, which will provide Real’s feed to fans in 15 European countries.
Special content will be available to RealNetworks’ GoldPass members and Tiscali subscribers. Those consumers will be able to "go backstage" and take advantage of an interactive 360-degree spin cam. The special content also includes access to "making of" footage of the concert and backstage interviews with the band and crew.
For twenty-one days following the event, RealNetworks and Tiscali will offer on-demand, exclusive viewing of broadband coverage of the concert, as well as interviews with U2 band members, to RealNetworks' GoldPass members through its website and Tiscali subscribers through http://u2.tiscali.com/.
